Bees and Their Relatives
Bees belong to the same insect order as wasps and ants. Members of this group play many different roles in the natural world.
Pollination
Bees help pollinate crops and other flowering plants. Their contribution makes them an important part of the landscapes around us.
Honey
Honey-producing bees also provide a familiar food: honey.
