Beyond the standard boundaries of Ben Hawes Park, the property connects directly to a sprawling network of wooded terrain at the George H. Rudy Mine Trails. The expansion adds approximately 200 heavily wooded acres to the complex.
The Rudy Mine Trails include a popular 7.5-mile unpaved mountain biking and hiking loop with moderate elevation changes, along with shorter, easier, shaded multi-use loops.
